Many months have passed since our last blog and some of you might be wondering, “what happened to those guys?” We are happy to report that we are doing better then ever, with a slew of developments over the past year that have managed to completely consume every resource available from the constantly growing AccuAir team. The most notable achievement so far this year would have to be our new headquarters located in San Luis Obispo, California.
In the first quarter of this year, we were able to secure and relocate to the new facility that will house AccuAir for years to come. At a little under 12,000 square feet, our new building provides working space for all aspects of AccuAir under one roof.
One of the most exciting aspects of our new headquarters is a full wing of the building dedicated to Research and Development. The picture above showcases a small portion of the R&D area which is our auto bay with two post lift to be used for vehicle-specific product development and testing.
Towards the entrance of the AccuAir HQ, you are greeted with our detail product displays indicating the various stages of products we offer. You are also welcomed by large AccuAir Suspension signage just in case you have forgotten your surroundings.
Just North of the entrance you will find our Product Assembly Department. This is where everything from our Touchpads to our VU4 Manifolds are individually assembled, tested and inspected to ensure the highest degree of quality control.
Above you see a batch of VU4 Manifolds in the final stages of assembly. What starts out as a small block of aluminum and numerous solenoids, takes shape and turns into the highest quality and most reliable air manifold on the market today.
This is the finished e-Level ECU; the brains of our Electronic Leveling System. As they say, “this is where the magic happens.” The 30,000 lines of coding loaded into each ECU is what earns AccuAir the reputation for having the "smartest" air suspension technology on the market today.
Here is a batch of e-Level Touchpads nearing completion. We are proud to say that our competitive edge doesn’t just stop with advanced algorithms. We have spent countless hours focusing on the aesthetics and ergonomics of our products to provide the end user with something that not only functions flawlessly, but looks sleek and sexy at the same time.
At the furthest North end of the HQ you will find our wall of 20 foot tall racking. Here we have a litany of our 3 and 5 gallon aluminum air tanks, which we take great pride in always having available.
Last, but definitely not least, is our Shipping and Receiving Corridor. Over the years we have worked diligently to decrease our lead times in order that our customers receive their products as quickly as possible. This has become a particular strong point of our operation, as it allows for us to continue to grow in volume without sacrificing in consistency of delivery.
Although we have been growing AccuAir Suspension for over 10 years now, the new AccuAir HQ feels like a new beginning in so many ways. We are extremely optimistic about the future and eager to continue improving all aspects of what Air Suspension can be. You can expect more updates on our latest developments soon.
